FCBDD Preschools and Schools to Begin Virtually
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, continued community spread of the virus and based on guidance of our Health Department, the preschool and school programs of the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be provided virtually until at least September 28, 2020. Preschool and School staff will return from summer recess on August 24, 2020 and will begin providing services virtually on August 31, 2020.
Further details will be provided by the preschool and school administrators and staff. We will continue to seek the guidance of the Health Department, who continuously evaluate data such as case counts, the positivity rate of those tested and community spread of the virus to guide future updates to our planning. We will make every effort to provide a two week notice on any change of plans as we move forward.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work through this unprecedented time and for doing all you can to prevent the spread of the virus so we can get back to in-person classes.
